Tangled, the latest animated tale to come out of those famous studios, is a fast paced adventure following the life of Rapunzel. As with so many Disney movies, this tale has very little resemblance to the famous children’s story from which the writers drew inspiration. The well known German fable has been completely torn apart, out with the old, in with the new and in all honesty, they couldn’t have done a better job. This is Disney at their best.

Without delving into too much detail, the basic Disney plot is still in place. Princess (Rapunzel) meets Prince charming (Flynn Rider) and after an epic journey (both physically and spiritually) they fall in love and live happily ever after. Boring you say? No. This movie, although classically Disney, is so very modern and perfect for today’s world. Tangled is a fun, fast paced, exciting story with modern twists and quirky jokes at every corner.
